The Director of Public Works, or authorized representative, is empowered to declare a snow emergency. The Director shall establish guidelines for conditions which will warrant the declaring of a snow emergency. When a snow emergency is declared, the City public information officer shall issue an emergency news bulletin to all radio and television stations and newspapers serving the City of Covington, and to the police, fire and emergency medical services agencies, so that there may be coordination for the deployment of personnel and equipment.
