(1) Where base flood elevation data is provided through the flood insurance study or as set forth in CMC 16.15.140, the Floodplain Administrator shall obtain and maintain the actual elevation, in relation to mean sea level, of the lowest floor (including basement) of all new or substantially improved structures and, in addition, shall record whether or not said structures contain basements.

(2) For all new or substantially improved floodproofed structures where base flood elevation is provided through the flood insurance study or is set forth in CMC 16.15.140, the Floodplain Administrator shall:

(a) Obtain and maintain the actual elevation, in relation to mean sea level to which the structure was floodproofed; and

(b) Maintain the floodproofing certifications required in CMC 16.15.110(3).

(3) The Floodplain Administrator shall maintain for public inspection all records pertaining to and required by the provisions of this chapter.

(4) The Floodplain Administrator shall maintain for public inspection all records pertaining to improvement and damage calculations.

(5) The Floodplain Administrator shall maintain for public inspection all records pertaining to the certification required by CMC 16.15.350(2) (floodway encroachments). (Ord. 12-20 § 2 (Exh. A); Ord. 06-17 § 3 (Exh. A); Ord. 23-00 § 2; Ord. 100-98 § 1)
