Preliminary approval of a short subdivision shall be effective for a period of 60 months. The permit applicant may apply for a single one-year extension to the preliminary approval, upon written application for an extension, payment of the fee for a request for extension as set forth in the current fee resolution, and being found to have fully complied with the conditions and requirements of the original approval. The application for extension may be made only after the first 48 months of the original preliminary approval, and no later than 60 days prior to its expiration.
