Whenever any watercourse is to be altered or relocated, the Floodplain Administrator shall:

(1) Notify adjacent communities and the Department of Ecology prior to any such alteration or relocation and submit evidence of such notification to the Federal Insurance Administrator; and

(2) Assure that the flood carrying capacity of the altered or relocated portion of said watercourse is maintained. (Ord. 12-20 § 2 (Exh. A); Ord. 06-17 § 3 (Exh. A); Ord. 100-98 § 1)
